We did it! Another great season is in the books, and it ended on a high note. For a great wrap up on our season, please read this letter from Matt Clos, our Director, HERE. Closing weekend brought incredible weather resulting in great skiing and riding, and the Employee Appreciation Day party rang with great music, and high spirits.

There are few traditions more revered at JHMR than the annual recognition of our twenty-year employees. This year was a banner year for the MSS with nine additions to this proud club. Here they are!
• Grant Bishop
• Princess Wiggy Michele Fletcher
• Tom ‘Crazy’ Haigh
• John Long
• Brian Mulvihill
• Whitney Roof
• Hailey Sentz
• Carsten Stuhr
• Evan Toal
Winter Wrap Up
Progressive Performance Pay (PPP) for the winter has been approved. Eligible instructors will receive PPP on May 16.
This year we posted an ‘Intent to Return’ survey for all staff to complete. We would love to see you here next season! This information will help us make decisions regarding recruiting and hiring for the upcoming season. Our supervisors’ ability to schedule accurately for our business levels helps to guarantee work through the season for the staff! Approximately half of the staff has completed the survey (thank you!). If you haven’t had a chance to participate, please take a minute to do so now. Your answers aren’t binding; they help us with planning! Here is the link: Intent to Return.
Summer Season Coming Up
Winter employees with dependent children also receive discounted rates on Grand Adventure Camp. The camp runs Monday-Friday from June 9th- August 29th. Like winter lessons, reservations for Grand Adventure Camp are required. Log in to purchase at shop.jacksonhole.com/s/employee.
Another great employee benefit for our winter employees is $20 Yoga on the Deck. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 9:30am-10:30am, join local yoga instructors on the Rendezvous Lodge deck (use your winter employee pass to get there!) for a 60-minute yoga practice. Tickets for this must be purchased online (no walk-up sales). Visit shop.jacksonhole.com/s/employee to make your reservation.
Summer Dates
Tram opens Saturday May 17th. Ski/Boards are allowed on the tram yet you MUST be outside the ski area boundaries to ski/ride. No skiing/riding is permitted within ski area boundaries after the winter operating season.
Bridger and Sweetwater gondolas will open June 7th. Skis and boards are not permitted on the gondolas.
Bike Park opens June 7; Grand Adventure Camp starts up June 9; Via Ferrata, Bungee Tramp and Rock Wall go live on June 14. So much to do!
Sunday Funday in the Bike Park returns this summer. From 2 –5 pm every Sunday, enjoy a $20 bike park ticket and discounts on bike rentals. Tram Dock will be open for craft cocktails on the deck and food trucks will be available for dining. Roll right into Concerts-on-the-Commons for a great Sunday.
Concerts-on-the-Commons- the line-up has been announced and there will some BIG talent in the Village this summer. The series starts July 3rd and continues through the summer on Sunday evenings. Check out the line-up HERE
The end of a winter season is always bittersweet- great memories and a job spectacularly well done mixed with the end of lift served skiing and riding and saying goodbye to great friends who are scattering to summer jobs. The MSS community’s commitment to excellence and connection make this a very special group to be a part of. The hard work, enthusiasm and professionalism you bring to the mountain every day helps create genuine mountain adventures- for our guests and for each other. Thank you. We can’t wait to do it again next season!
Hope your spring and summer adventures are fun and safe. Stay in touch and hope to see you out here in Teton Village. Stop by and say hi!
Some photos from this winter to reflect on what a good time we had!
