Welcome to Summer!

MSS Summer Announcements
Summer Operations
On May 21st, we watched Big Red fly into summer skies for the first time in two years; it was AWESOME.
The Village is gradually ramping up for the season; all the summer lifts are spinning and the MSS summer activities are rolling. The Via Ferrata will open this weekend on Saturday the 18th.
We are still looking for Summer Activity Attendants to work on the Bungee and the Rock Wall. We can hire as young as 14 years old. There is a fun crew to work with and the pay is solid. If you know anyone that may be interested, send them our way (paul.franzeim@jacksonhole.com or richard.morse@jacksonhole.com)
Party!
Though we said fare-well to Kerch on Employee Ski Day, we will have a proper send off for him mid-summer. Please stay tuned for those details - we will get them to you as soon as possible.
Future plans
The MSS senior management group spent a productive day- off campus!- brainstorming priorities for MSS for upcoming years. We know from experience that what we don’t plan doesn’t happen and we learned from Kerch that “hope is NOT a strategy!”
We identified staff compensation as a top priority moving forward closely followed by (in no particular order) staff communication, recruiting, training, and improving the guest experience. We will be working on these initiatives through the Summer and Fall to lay a GREAT foundation for progress on them for seasons to come.
Sustainability
Matt, Paul, and Lexey recently attended a Sustainability Conference sponsored by JHMR. This was an impressive statement from our leadership on their commitment to making impactful decisions about our business. The day and a half conference closed with strong momentum to move forward on many sustainability initiatives. Molly Wolansky from Finance is acting as the interim leader on this effort. We will share more details with you as this effort takes form.
We hope you are all finding time to get into the great outdoors- hiking, trail running, fishing, boating, golfing, horseback riding- all of it. We would love to see your faces out here- come by and say hi!
